I bought one of these for my satellite office a year ago. Honestly the price is what attracted me. Then I received it, and WOW..the quality for the price was unbelievable. I had been transporting it back and forth to the main office because the difference of using this vs setting a computer under the camera was very noticeable. Today I just ordered another one and I'm having it shipped to our main office.

It's such an inexpensive solution, there is no reason not to have more than one. If you shoot any videos you're going to love the ease of operation, ease of set-up and the professional look of being able to look right into the camera.

Needed a teleprompter fast. On a budget.

Here's what it cost:

Throw in about $20.00 for misc shipping costs.
Total: $255.24

Here's what I got for the money:

A complete, sturdy, practical, functional, controllable TelePrompter that paid for itself on its first use. The core of the system is the Caddie Buddy prompter mount with Beam Splitter Glass. The mount and glass are first quality and if I could give it ten stars, I would. Don't buy a cheap Chinese made piece of crap - get the Caddie Buddy MADE IN THE USA.

Plan To Buy A Second One

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but I love this teleprompter. It will hold my 5D Mark III with a 70-200mm lens just fine. I love it so much that I plan to buy a second one: I have a studio plus I travel. The nice thing is that it's two teleprompters for less than the price of one in most cases. I'd love to have a link to a case that would hold this specifically a hard case for airline travel.
lightweight and easy setup

I have had other teleprompters and this one performs as well or better. The display is large enough. The only negative comment I have is that the splitter will rotate on the two rails making it a little flimsy. Also the shade does not fit around the lens but is more like a blanket that you wrap around it. I chose to sew mine to fit nicely around the lens.

From initial customer service to the final product I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a teleprompter. My video is much better, smoother and easier now. The "big cards on the wall to read from" really weren't working that great.

If you are ready to take your videos up to First Class give this a try!

I am so happy I purchased the Caddie Buddy, which holds you ipad or smart phone for teleprompting. It is made of solid construction. The beam splitter glass provides great contrast. I also purchased the PromptSmart Pro app for my ipad and together you have an incredibly powerful teleprompter for a fraction of the price of regular teleprompter.

I've shared with all my colleagues who do video marketing.

Read a blurb about this product in a newsletter for speakers, and since I'd been searching for an affordable teleprompter for my home office, I immediately gave Mike a call. He was extremely responsive, and after receiving the teleprompter I can let you know that the build quality is stellar-- way beyond what would be expected for the price point. Very pleased! (BTW it comes in a reusable cardboard box for storage but I wanted something more portable, so I purchased a Gator DJ Controller case on Amazon to tote it around.)

I needed a teleprompter to create online courses I am developing. This product is nothing short of awesome. Mike's video was very helpful. Well made, sturdy, easy to use.
I really expected to pay twice as much for this and was really happy the price fit into my budget. I highly recommend!
