I'm new to the world of teleprompters. I looked at several other products - expensive with no corresponding value. I stumbled onto Caddie Buddy and found what I was looking for. I already have the tripods and camcorders - I just need a place to mount them and this product does an EXCELLENT job! Thanks, Mike.

I purchased Caddy Buddy a while ago with the old mounting system, it was okay - but unstable. Mike sold me the upgraded mount from the latest design that fits perfectly, annoying problem solved. The teleprompter is simple in design but well constructed and works brilliantly for my needs. The beamsplitter glass is of very high quality. Great price, great service, great product - buy it, you won't be sorry. PS - Another must-have is the PromptSmart Pro App

The teleprompter you’ve designed is high quality and well priced. It was very simple to set up and works great with our tripod (Manfrotto), camera (Canon 60D), tablet (iPad) and audio equipment (Beachtek DXA-SLR ULTRA) combination.
We especially appreciated all of the adjustable components...we were able to get the positioning perfect and just the way we wanted.
After testing the teleprompter, we were able to get crisp video footage so the glass is of high quality. This teleprompter is perfect for our agency studio.
We highly recommend this product!

Just received it! I tested it out and it seems to be working very well. The reflection was better than I expected. All of my test subjects looked as if they knew the words by heart. Build quality is also pretty good. I don't think you can get anything better at this price range.
The most difficult for me was finding an app that was good but when the product arrived there were several recommendations on an instruction paper and they worked. Keep in mind you have to pay for a decent teleprompter app. I went through many free ones for android and apple...none were really good.
I am very satisfied.

I have traveled to London and back with this product and can wholeheartedly say that if you pack it well it works wonders. I even rigged one to a shoulder mount since we were walking around London and it was solidly connected after a full day of shooting.

I have been doing training videos and reading off a 2nd screen, which looks very "amateurish". I have been searching for a high quality teleprompter that can hold up to constantly moving studios on shooting locations. Plus I was looking for a device that could be setup quickly. I've tried some cheap teleprompters and they pretty much sucked. So I started searching for a professional model. But I wasn't looking to spend $500 or more for this type of equipment. When I ran across caddie buddy, I was excited to see a decent price and end excellent reviews. Plus I called the support line and actually spoke to the inventor of this rig. After using it now for the last 2 months, I can honestly say this is an excellent investment and has really amped up my video training courses. Plus, when combined with PromptSmart and my iPad2, this is a game changer. And the actual video results are awesome. It looks like I've memorized scripts and speak naturally to the eye of the camera.
